Which leads me to my next point. I censor myself a lot on my blog. And I'm not talking about keeping my blog from being rated R or anything like that. I just find that I'm ultra-sensitive about what conclusions my readers might take from my words and how it might affect their perceptions of me. After all, my feed does automatically upload to Facebook and I have many friends who are nothing more than casual acquaintances, friends who I only knew through my mission, and friends from the religious institution BYU-Idaho.
So I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to be more honest with the internet about my online presence. And this will make (I hope) blogging a lot more enjoyable for me. (And hopefully anyone who might be reading.) I've asked myself why I don't simply write in a journal where I don't have to worry about what people will think and I guess that the answer is that I have never been able to consistently write in a journal. And there's something interesting about sending little pieces of myself into the interweb. Maybe someone will read and be affected.
Or maybe someone will read and be annoyed.
Or just not care.
But in any case, I invite anyone who gets sick of my blog feed to hide it.
But more importantly, I invite you to read it.
So, there.
The curtain is drawn back.
Please pay attention to the man behind the curtain.
BAMF!
Also, if you decide that you do like my blog and would like to see where I'm going, please follow my blog. And comment! Even if it's just to disagree with me! OR you can even check the little boxes (funny, interesting, cool) below each post, if you find it to be any of those things.

I'm excited to see where this journey takes you. I think I am also becoming more honest in my blogger, so I guess we can be the honest, blogging couple together.
ReplyDeleteLove you, 8bit fox!
I disagree with you
ReplyDeleteWell I disagree with YOU! Ooooh! Drama! Intrigue! NOW things will start heating up!
